The Designer & Architect Program is for professionals who think about rugs as part of a complete spatial idea rather than as an accessory selected at the end.
A rug changes the architecture of a room
Rugs affect circulation, furniture relationships, acoustic softness, colour balance and the perceived scale of a space. A large rug can pull separate pieces of furniture into one composition. A runner can reinforce the direction of movement. A round rug can soften a room dominated by straight lines.
That is why a professional rug conversation needs to include plan, proportion and use—not just pattern preference.
How LoomifyHome can support a specification
- Collection curation based on the project language.
- Material and construction discussion.
- Size, shape and proportion guidance.
- Selected custom or bespoke development where feasible.
- Quantity and timing conversations.
- International packing and dispatch coordination.
- Clear product and care information for the selected rug.
Mood boards, plans and palettes are welcome
A useful first brief can be visual. Floor plans, furniture layouts, fabric references, stone or timber samples, mood boards and colour stories all help us understand what the rug needs to do.
We are particularly interested in collaboration where the rug is allowed to participate in the overall design language—through colour, border, geometry, texture or material—not simply fill an empty rectangle on the plan.
From one residence to larger programmes
The program is useful whether you are specifying one statement rug for a private residence or coordinating several pieces across a larger project. If the brief becomes hospitality or contract-scale, the Projects / Hospitality pathway creates the appropriate commercial framework.
Design confidence backed by making knowledge
LoomifyHome’s advantage is the proximity between aesthetic conversation and production reality. We want designers to be able to discuss an idea with people who understand the technical implications of the rug rather than passing the brief through layers of generic sales communication.
A professional rug partner should understand both the design language and the execution questions behind it.
