The Founder

LoomifyHome grows from the business journey of Avinash Gupta and Geeta Gupta, who began working in rugs and home furnishings in 2010 with an international market in mind.

A business learned through the product

The founders did not approach rugs as a fashion category to be added to a storefront. The business was learned through the product itself: sourcing, making, customer feedback, export, photography, packing, returns, custom questions and the everyday realities of selling handmade work online.

That kind of experience creates a practical design instinct. You begin to notice which details customers repeatedly ask about, where descriptions fail, which sizes are difficult to find, which materials need more explanation and why some beautiful ideas are not sensible production ideas.

Geeta and the human side of the business

Geeta’s role in the journey is part of LoomifyHome’s identity. The company story is not only about products and revenue; it is also about the relationships that grow around a small business as it becomes larger—customers who return, makers whose skills become familiar, families connected with production and a team that learns through years of shared work.

As LoomifyHome develops into a more structured international brand, we want to keep that human accountability rather than replace it with anonymous corporate language.

Avinash and the next stage

The next stage of the company is deliberately more ambitious: stronger design language, deeper rug education, a premium visual identity, better international trust signals and a professional trade layer capable of speaking to designers, architects, boutiques, importers and hospitality projects.

The ambition is not to imitate a century-old rug house. It is to build a younger brand with the operational seriousness, product knowledge and clarity expected from one.

Why founder visibility matters

When customers buy online—especially across borders—it helps to know who stands behind the business. Founder visibility creates accountability. It tells customers that there are identifiable people behind the product, service standards and long-term direction of the brand.

For professional buyers, it also signals continuity. A trade relationship is easier to build when the supplier has a clear operating identity and a long-term interest in the category.

Building an institution around rugs

The founders’ long-term goal for LoomifyHome is larger than a single online shop. The intention is to build a durable rug institution that can connect design, manufacturing, export, material knowledge, artisan stories, custom capability and international service under one recognisable name.

That is why the brand is investing in both consumer experience and professional infrastructure at the same time.

The founder story is ultimately a product story: years spent understanding how rugs are made, specified, sold, shipped and lived with.
